SPELLING RULES
• Most verbs: add -s
examples: plays, likes, listens
• Verbs ending in -ch, -sh, -s, ss, -x, or -z add -es
examples: watches, finishes
• Verbs ending in consonant + y: -y > -ies
example: studies
• The verbs go and do - add -es.
examples: goes, does
• The verb have is irregular: has
