Learn English online • We usually use some in positive sentences with plural countable nouns and uncountable nouns. • We usually use any in negatives and questions with plural countable nouns and uncountable nouns.   POSITIVE singular countable nouns: There’s a cooker. plural countable nouns: There are some chairs. uncountable nouns: I’d like some information.

NEGATIVE singular countable nouns: There isn’t a TV. plural countable nouns: We haven’t got any children. uncountable nouns: I haven’t got any money.   QUESTIONS singular countable nouns: Has it got a shower? plural countable nouns: Are there any shops? uncountable nouns: Is there any furniture?
